Acceptable Use
Catfish Finder is provided for verifying the identity of someone you are personally in contact with, and for reducing your own exposure while you do so. You agree not to use it to stalk, harass, dox, or surveil anyone who has not contacted you, or to target someone for reasons unrelated to verifying a claim they've made to you directly.
What the Tools Do and Don't Guarantee
Each investigation tool checks one specific thing against publicly available sources and returns what it finds. No tool on this site guarantees a specific accuracy rate or produces a definitive verdict about whether someone is or isn't a catfish. You are responsible for exercising independent judgment — including direct verification (a live video call, in-person meeting, or another independent source) — before acting on what a check finds, and especially before sending money or sharing sensitive personal information based on it.
