Secrecy Request on Seeking
Explicit framing like "let's keep this between us" applied to ordinary relationship milestones that wouldn't normally need secrecy. On Seeking, where the dominant catfish pattern is arrangement/allowance framing used to normalize early financial requests, this tactic is a common companion to that pattern. Seeking has no native video-call feature, so testing for this tactic usually means proposing a call on a separate app instead.
Counter-Move
A request for secrecy about anything other than the platform itself is worth naming out loud rather than accepting quietly.
