Reverse-Image-Resistant Photo Selection on TikTok
Photos are consistently distant, poorly lit, or angled away — harder than normal to match against other sources. On TikTok, where the dominant catfish pattern is reposted/stitched video clips used to fake a real-time video presence, this tactic is a common companion to that pattern. TikTok has no native video-call feature, so testing for this tactic usually means proposing a call on a separate app instead.
Counter-Move
Treat a photo set that is unusually hard to search as its own data point, not a coincidence of bad lighting.
Check It
The tell — Photos are consistently distant, poorly lit, or angled away — harder than normal to match against other sources. — is visible in the photo itself, which is what this tool checks.
