Future-Faking on OurTime

Specific future commitments (dates, locations, logistics) discussed in detail before a first video call or in-person meeting has happened. On OurTime, where the dominant catfish pattern is grief- or loneliness-framed openings aimed at recently widowed or divorced users, this tactic is a common companion to that pattern. OurTime has no native video-call feature, so testing for this tactic usually means proposing a call on a separate app instead.
