Fake Verification Badge Claim on OnlyFans
A verification claim is made in conversation or via screenshot rather than being visible on the actual live profile. On OnlyFans, where the dominant catfish pattern is a creator persona impersonated off-platform to solicit direct payment outside the real creator’s account, this tactic is a common companion to that pattern. OnlyFans has no native video-call feature, so testing for this tactic usually means proposing a call on a separate app instead.
Counter-Move
Check verification status directly on the platform itself — never take a claim about it, or a screenshot of it, at face value.
Check It
Fake Verification Badge Claim often shows up as the same identity reused across platforms, which is what this tool cross-references.
